Session 1 - Keeping an Undivided Heart in a Divided World - Nancie Carmichael

Session 2 - The Spinning Compass - Bo Stern

Life moves fast and sometimes it’s hard to find steady, secure direction. Bo will share some successful strategies gleaned from stories of women who have managed to cut through the chaos to discover real relationship with the one True North.

Session 3 - A Map for the Journey - Bo Stern

The first step to getting where you really want to go with your life is figuring out where you actually are. Building on Session 2, Bo will discuss how to read the map that leads to the greatest treasure.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Movement and Meditation on the Holy Spirit - Gaylie Cashman

No experience is necessary for you to befriend your body as a sacred vessel “knit together in your mother’s womb” (Psalm 139), vitally connected with your breath, emotions, thoughts, and spirit. In this easy, prayerful movement practice, internally explore how your habits and attitudes impact all levels of your health, relationships with others, God, and your deepest self. Bring a towel or mat.

Meditation - Connie Smith

This workshop will allow attendees to experience and discuss three practices of meditation to quiet themind and enter a place of stillness: silence, creation of a breathing prayer, and engaging in art.

Soaking in Scripture - Pam Lau

Light for your eyes! Joy for your heart! A restored soul! These are just three benefits of many that are ours when we are soaking up Scripture. Join us in this interactive session as we discover how to read, meditate, and drink in the precious Word of God for all its worth. Bring your Bible and journal.

Prayer - Donna Buhrow

Prayer can be one of the most confusing and frustrating spiritual disciplines because we often feel like nothing changes when we pray. We will discuss why prayer needs to be a priority, what really happens when we pray, and spend focused time in prayer.
